We keep this simple: we only keep what we need, for as long as we need it, and we never sell anything about you. Questions? WhatsApp us or DM @brightside.corp.

Ordering

  • There are no accounts and no checkout on this site. Your basket is saved on your own phone, so it’s still there when you come back.
  • When you tap Send, your order goes to us as a WhatsApp or Instagram message that you send yourself. We use your name, area, delivery day and note to get your cans to you, and keep the chat like any other.
  • WhatsApp and Instagram are run by Meta, under their own privacy policies.

Visiting the site

  • Your 18+ answer is remembered on your phone, so the age check doesn’t pop up every time.
  • The “Which girl are you?” quiz counts how people use it (starts, finishes, which girl, shares) so we can make it better. The counts are anonymous: no cookies, no name, no phone number and no IP address. If your browser asks sites not to track you (Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control), the quiz counts nothing at all.
  • No ads, and no advertising trackers.
  • The Events page lists our events from eventOS (run by DZND Limited). The event pictures load from eventOS’s servers, and buying a ticket happens on eventos.ng under its own privacy policy and terms. We don’t see who looks at the page.

Corp Cam

  • Your photo is made on your phone and stays there. Nothing is uploaded when you take, edit, share or download it.
  • The only time a photo leaves your phone is if you choose to pin it to the Wall.

The Wall

  • A photo goes on the public Wall only if you tick the box to pin it. Pinning means you’re 18 or over and happy for it to be seen by anyone who visits.
  • With it we keep: the photo, the frame, the event name and the name you typed (both optional), the time, and your repost choice. No email, phone number or account.
  • Reposting: we only share your photo on our Instagram or other pages if you ticked “Brightside can repost my photo”. If you didn’t, it stays on the Wall only.
  • Every photo comes down by itself after 30 days.
  • Taking your photo down: use the private link you got when you pinned, or the remove page on the same phone. It’s gone straight away.
  • In a photo someone else pinned? Tap the photo on the Wall and choose “Ask us to take it down”, or message us on WhatsApp. We take it down, no questions asked.
  • Before a photo goes up, an automatic check (run on Cloudflare) looks for explicit content, QR codes and written links. If it flags something, the photo waits for our team to have a look. It doesn’t recognise faces or keep anything.
  • Our team also takes down anything that breaks the house rules: no one who looks under 18, no heavy drinking, no explicit nudity or abuse, no other brands.

Where it lives

  • The site is hosted by Vercel. Wall photos and the anonymous quiz counts are stored with Cloudflare. Their servers may be outside Nigeria. They store things for us and don’t use them for anything else.
  • Want to know what we hold about you, or want it deleted? Message us and we’ll sort it. You can also contact the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
